The Enemy's Son was launched this weekend in Bristol and sold more than a fair few copies. I haven't really had chance to take it al in yet - the book was delivered hot from the printers 10.45am on friday and my publisher had to leave at 12. I have never suffered from so much anxiety and apprehension in my life. Erth is my baby, I've watched this world and it's characters grow for what seems like an eternity - but it's all been worth it.

I can assure you the final result looks as professional as anything you'd see on the shelf. Oh, and yes - now I've finally found the time to do so - it even smells like a real book!

The Bristol Comicon Expo overall was an incredible experience. In terms of networking as a professional I cannot recommend it enough. I had the opportunity of meeting and chatting over dinner with both people I have admired or at the very least familiar with their work. You are treated as an equal and everyone seems to have a genuine interest in what you do. I have a fair few tales - but to be honest, despite some of the high profile artists I met, I was genuinely more pleased to meet fellow Erth Walkers and Deviants for the first time. One of which, Charlie [link] I had the opportunity of introducing to the Top Cow Editor, who was equally impressed with her exceptional talent. Watch this space.
